A FreeYourself shaman drum is an instrument, but it’s more than that.
FreeYourself drums are very good for musicians who want to tune their drum, as you can add an inner tube in it. This means you can pump it with air to change the tone or tighten the skin, when you don't have a fire to warm it up.
It's also an amazing tool for personal growth, prayers, healing and finding power & peace inside.As well as for gathering around the fire with your friends & family for finding harmony together through sound.
When you drum, it grounds you.
Beating the drum at a slow rate resonates with your heart & has an instant calming effect. At a quick beat, it encourages the brain to slow down & go into a meditational mode.
FreeYourself shaman drums are high-quality shaman drums. The very unique thing about them is that they are crafted with crystals on the back, often jewellery stones & engraved with power symbols inside the frame. This is unique to FreeYourself Shaman Drums. And it allows you to put your own special intention & energy in your drum.
MATERIALS can be reindeer, deer or even moose skin, all sourced from Norway from animals that have roamed free & where all of their gifts have been used. On rare occasions, I also have horse from England.
The deluxe version is a raw skin drum; it takes a week just to prepare the skin, some hair from the animal is left which creates a raw look and I feel a higher connection with the spirit of the animal. The sound is often better. I mostly make them on deluxe Ash frames.
The frames are willow, birch or oak from sustainable foresting in England, very lightweight from India or high-quality handcraft from Germany made of Ash, like the mythical Yggdrasil.

SHAMAN DRUM MAGIC
The drums have magic, if you play them, when you feel the calling, they’ll heal you & have you step more into your truthful path.
My first shaman drum changed my life & has called me to do things I never thought I dared or could - my drums still do! It’s an ongoing process, a friend for life!
Each drum I've made & helped birth has its totally own magic & spirit!
You can't explain it, but it's normally visible that something starts to change as soon as you've ordered your drum.
When I'd built my first drum, I saw very specific spirits jump into it. But you don't need to believe in anything "supernatural" to get a shaman drum, other than the will to be yourself.
If you listen, the drum will tell you what is its particular gift just for you!
Everybody can play the shaman drum!!
It's the heartbeat of our Mother.
